adriancs35
Hi, so today I compiled a fresh SF 5.4.8 on my Ubuntu machine, I extracted the maps vmaps from my 5.4.8 client and put them into the SF's bin folder, but when I try to start the server I do get the following error: Using configuration file /home/adrian/skyfire/etc/worldserver.conf. Assistant Admin AriDEV Posted February 3, 2015 Assistant Admin Share Posted February 3, 2015 VMap support included. LineOfSight: 1, getHeight: 1, indoorCheck: 1 Â do u got your vmaps ? Â else disable vmap stuff at the config. Â Â the other posibility that your client dont got all data from the instalation probably missing some data. make sure to got a full 5.4.8 client and not only a half data client. tested it and it works at me. adriancs35
I do have vmaps, I could understand that my client didnt gave all the data, but I downloaded the files from 3 different repacks too! Even tried a recompile today... Â EDIT: I fixed it! As this is the first time I tried to install SkyFire/Trinity on a Linux-based system, I made the mistake to think that the maps vmaps and DBCs go in the same directory where binaryes are, changed my worldserver.con DataDir to /home/adrian/skyfire/bin and now everything works fine.
