Eric Nelson Posted February 19, 2012 Share Posted February 19, 2012 Hello all. I am new to the whole Gameserver concept. Got wrangled into this by some friends who love to play World of Warcraft. Since I know a little bit of Linux and programming, and we aren't always where we have the Internet available, I am trying out the Skyfire code base. Still haven't gotten it to compile completely out of the box but am working on it. I am installing Skyfire 4.0.6a on an Ubuntu 11.10 server. Can't wait to see how it all works. I am by no means L33T or however some poeple out it, so please don't flame me if I ask something obvious. Hopefully I'll have a portable server up and running here in a day or so.
