Interesting, that you mention that it is the client - that is what i thought after several tests with different OSes and configurations aswell. I am currently the launcher you mentioned and will try again once it is done. I will edit my topic to tell you how it went.

 

Edit: It actually worked.

I do have the same issue, there is not difference if i try to run WoW from the same machine the server is running on or from a remote machine.
